About Me:
I have spent the last 15 years working as a producer and the last 9 in senior leadership roles. I am currently an independent Creative Consultant, Executive Producer and Coach and a Non-Exec Director for Rising Arts Agency
I am based in Bristol but work nationally and internationally, I care deeply about the arts industry and always champion and advocate for best practice, always. I believe that by placing care filled approaches at the centre of any work; brilliant, bold, ambitious ideas, projects and organisations can emerge and thrive. I currently work part time due to parental caring responsibilities.
I was CEO of Theatre Bristol (2020-23) where I led the organisation through a period of immense change and delivered programmes of work designed to develop and support the sector; providing opportunities, networks, resilience and lobbying for better conditions, particularly for those most underserved in our industry.
I hold Level 1 BSL and am Mental Health First Aid Trained. In 2014 I was selected for the Clore Emerging Leaders and am accredited by RD1st as a Coach.
I was Executive Director of Situations where I led the business operations. From 2011 – 2015 I was a founding member and Executive Producer at Kaleider. I also co-founded and co-directed Wide Awake Devon, a sector development organisation for the performance sector in Devon. I started my career as Creative Producer of the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth.
